Job summary

Bill Hood Chevrolet is seeking skilled service technicians to join our GM-focused service team. You will perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, with emphasis on GM vehicles.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, a professional appearance, and a proven track record of meeting goals. The position is full-time with benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Two years automotive mechanical experience or automotive trade school.
• GM training and ASE certifications.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to exercise good judgment.
• Background check required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a few highly-skilled automotive technicians to join our Service team. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Looking for someone who is capable of working on GM vehicles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Keep shop area/work area are clean and kept up
• Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean
• Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
