Parma City School District's Greenbriar Middle School in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a General Monitor to support student safety and supervision. The position reports to the Building Principal and runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A fingerprint check is required under state law. The starting hourly wage is $15.40, with full-time hours and duties including light clerical tasks and outdoor work in varied weather.

Job Description

Reports To: Building Principal

Salary: $15.40 starting hourly wage

Schedule: 7 hours per day, 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must like and get along with children, (i.e.. possess good parenting skills)
• Ability to apply behavior techniques in enforcing school discipline in an appropriate context
• Perform some clerical functions
• Good physical health and the ability to work outdoors during inclement weather

Notice: House Bill 190 mandates that we request check of BCI & FBI records regardless of how long an employee has resided in Ohio. This means all new employees must pay a total of $51.00 for fingerprinting.
