Job summary

Target is hiring for a General Merchandise Expert to support a fast-paced store environment in New York. You will enhance the guest experience, assist with replenishment, pricing, and merchandising, and help ensure product availability across GM areas.

The role requires strong customer service, physical activity, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Training is provided to develop relevant retail skills and product knowledge.

• Support peers and adjust to business and guest needs to meet goals and priorities.
• Perform daily tasks like receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, pricing activities, and placing promotional signs.
• Operate power equipment when certified and follow safety procedures to maintain store standards.
• Learn and execute procedures related to product placement, stock levels, inventory accuracy, and store organization.
