Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to support guests on the sales floor and execute daily store tasks. You will help with stocking, pricing, and merchandising while maintaining a welcoming service mindset.

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Training will cover store processes and safety procedures to help you grow with Target.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and supporting a guest-first culture.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends and inventory replenishment.
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping Target.
• Execute tasks like receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom and signage.
• Operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise/store fixtures.
• Change prices and manage inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how procedures affect inventory, profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to assist guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance at all times.
• Support guest services like back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes while complying with laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.
