Job summary

Target is hiring for a General Merchandise Expert to deliver an easy, inspiring guest experience in a fast-paced store environment in Minnesota. You will greet guests, help locate items, and resolve issues while supporting backroom operations, stock levels, and merchandising tasks.

The role requires a guest-first mindset, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to varying shifts, including nights and weekends. Training provided to develop product knowledge and store procedures.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests across different zones and assist with finding items or resolving issues.
• Help guests find what they need and ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, and setting up merchandise.
