Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert to help guests and keep store shelves stocked and inviting. The role emphasizes guest-first service, operation of daily tasks, and collaboration with teammates to meet sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

No two days are the same as you greet guests, assist with product finding, restocking, and processing transactions while following safety guidelines and store policies. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and assist with product finding to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
• Execute daily tasks to help achieve goals, including receiving products and restocking shelves.
• Follow all Target policies and safety procedures and maintain a safe workplace.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes.
• All other duties based on business needs.
