Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to enhance guest service and keep the sales floor stocked and accessible. This role supports daily replenishment, merchandising setup, pricing actions, and backroom organization to maintain a smooth shopping experience.

You will engage guests, help them locate products, and collaborate with teammates to meet store goals while following safety and store procedures. This position requires flexibility for busy periods and varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft with a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, and setting up promotions.
