Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to support guest services, stocking, and store operations. You will help guests locate products, participate in merchandising, and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 44 pounds, and adapt to varying hours, including nights and weekends. Training is provided to enable success in both guest service and digital fulfillment tasks.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.

• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft with a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Execute daily tasks such as restocking shelves, pricing, and merchandising.
