Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk in Michigan to deliver exceptional customer service while stocking shelves and assisting with merchandising tasks. You will handle product placement, maintain organized back rooms, and ensure shelves are ready for customers.

Qualifications

• Able to learn basic technology and systems used in-store operations.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-area spaces.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas

• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
