Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a General Medicine physician to perform VA C&P disability examinations, review medical records, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). No prescribing or ongoing patient care required.

Candidate must hold MD/DO with an active license, and be board certified/eligible with strong clinical assessment and documentation skills. Prior disability evaluation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active license.
• Experience in disability evaluations or related areas preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA C&P disability examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical records before evaluations.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and reports.
• Document findings clearly and on time.
• Collaborate with clinical and admin teams to ensure timely evaluations.
• Maintain compliance with VA, HIPAA, and regulations.
