Qualifications

• Medical Lab Tech, Cert (Required)
• ASCP/AMT/AAB within 1 year of hire or be licensed as a CLP-MLT before the effective date and meet WV rule requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs Established Routine and Special Testing in the Laboratory; collects data, calculates results, and correlates test results with clinical values.
• Possesses and Applies Working Knowledge of Quality Control by following established laboratory procedures and documenting results.
• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation; documents actions and switches to backup methods when needed.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of Laboratory Computer Systems and performs job functions accurately on computer systems.
