Primoris Energy Services seeks a General Mechanical Superintendent to oversee all mechanical construction on assigned projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

You will supervise crews, interpret blueprints and specifications, and coordinate with management and engineering teams to optimize resources and execution.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in mechanical construction with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with large-scale industrial construction, preferably within energy services.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, P&IDs, and isometrics.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus.

This role involves direct supervision of mechanical crews and coordination with other trades and project stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:\*\* \* Manage and supervise all aspects of mechanical construction, including but not limited to piping, equipment installation, and structural steel erection, in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards. \* Develop and implement project schedules for mechanical work, monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines. \* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. \* Direct and coordinate the work of foremen, craft workers, and subcontractors. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to mechanical crews. \* Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during construction. \* Collaborate with project management, engineering, and other superintendents to optimize project execution and resource allocation. \* Monitor and control project costs related to mechanical work, including labor, materials, and equipment. \* Prepare daily reports, progress reports, and other documentation as required. \* Oversee the procurement, delivery, and storage of mechanical materials and equipment. \* Participate in project meetings and effectively communicate project status, concerns, and solutions. Job Qualifications:\*\* \* Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in mechanical construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role as a Mechanical Superintendent or General Foreman. \* Proven experience with large-scale industrial construction projects, preferably within the energy services sector. \* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping fabrication and installation, heavy equipment setting, and structural steel erection. \* Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and specifications. \* In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices (OSHA 30 certification preferred). \* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams. \* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. \* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. \* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. \* Willingness to travel and work on project sites as required. \* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.**Company Overview:**Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
