Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time General Mechanic in the Houston, TX area. This role involves performing vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs, adhering to federal, state, local regulations, and company policies. Candidates must provide their own basic mechanic’s tools.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of repair and maintenance experience with various automotive and mechanical equipment

Preferred Experience

• General Mechanic
• Vocational training and/or technical certification or equivalent

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Knowledge of local driving laws and safety standards
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and operate hand/power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in various environmental conditions
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions

Compensation and Schedule

Pay rate: $20-25/hr depending on experience. Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, on-call, with flexibility during weather events.
