GENERAL MANUFACTURING OPERATOR (2nd shift)

Hours for this second shift role are M-F, 3:00 to 11:00 pm plus overtime when needed.

Position Summary:

The position's purpose is to assist with producing electrical contacts using powder metal processes and producing brazed contact assemblies using resistance and furnace brazing processes.   • Loading and unloading furnaces
  • Running powder metal presses.
  • Furnace and resistance brazing.
  • Inspecting product.
  • Utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use.
  • Provide active input for continuous process improvement.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate written and oral job-related information.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to use micrometer and use related tools.
  • Ability to accurately complete paperwork.
  • Ability to work overtime.
Physical Requirements/Safety:
  • Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.
  • Wear PPE as required
  • Ability to stand for long periods, frequent bending and reaching.
  • Ability to tolerate high temperatures in the work environment.
