Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations. You must set a positive example and adhere to all policies and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from your team.

Additional responsibilities include staffing, paperwork, maintaining a perfect image and standards, providing excellent customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, managing transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS

General duties for all team members include:

  1. Operating all equipment.
  2. Stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
  3. Preparing products.
  4. Receiving and processing telephone orders.
  5. Taking inventory and completing related paperwork.
  6. Cleaning equipment and facilities daily.

Training

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Communication Skills

Ability to understand and follow written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers effectively, both over the phone and in person.

Essential Skills

Ability to perform basic math accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use verbal, written, and telephone communication skills. Motor coordination for precise movements and entering orders via computer or touchscreen are also required.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, and mechanical parts.

SENSING

Talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot and cold surfaces.

TEMPERAMENTS

Ability to manage activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, analyze data, and make judgments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing most of the time, walking short distances, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing and pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders occasionally.

All physical activities should be performed safely and with proper technique.
