Description

Purpose of the Role: The General Manager provides strategic and tactical leadership for their restaurant. This manager must maintain operations and drive results in his/her restaurant through people development, sales, and profit growth. The General Manager must hire, train, and develop team members who share the Wingstop mission to Serve the World Flavor. They should convey the Wingstop culture to their crew and be a creative team player passionate about hard work, having fun, and demonstrating dedication to the brand's success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. People Management: Responsible for staffing the restaurant efficiently with carefully selected team members. Ensure a safe environment for staff and guests; oversee orientation and onboarding; develop and monitor performance plans; make final hiring and separation decisions; create staff schedules considering sales, availability, payroll, and overtime; foster a respectful, rewarding culture.
  2. Financial Management: Audit operations, provide feedback, develop solutions for improvements; understand budgets and costs; create business plans; perform financial analysis; control cash, property, and equipment; drive sales; manage labor and food costs; meet targets set by leadership.
  3. Operations Management: Maintain operational standards; coordinate maintenance; ensure communication across organization; coach and develop team members; ensure compliance with risk management standards.
Additional Information
  • The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours/day.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to adapt to new systems.
  • 5+ years of food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience.
  • Financial analysis skills; knowledge of labor laws.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about hospitality and guest service.
  • Flexible to work 50-60 hours/week including weekends and holidays.
