  • Build and nurture deep relationships with decision makers in the utilities sector, including government, economic users, and contractors.
  • Own executive engagement plans and relationship maps for priority accounts. Open doors for priority pursuits and sponsor multi‑business utility opportunities.
  • Drive collaboration across lines of businesses to create comprehensive solutions for large and complex utility projects. Align cross‑business pursuits and execution and remove barriers to deliver outcomes.
  • Align enterprise‑level messaging and value proposition across Honeywell Technologies.
  • Generate a high‑quality sales pipeline and facilitate senior‑level discussions and decision‑making. Drive forecast accuracy and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Utilize a robust management operating system to monitor and drive business results.
  • Lead geographic expansion efforts and stay informed on industry, product, and technology trends relevant to utilities.
  • Own regional P&L/financial performance and operating plan execution. Prioritize investments and resources.

Job Description

As General Manager, Utilities here at Honeywell Technologies, you will be a member of the leadership team within the Smart Energy, Industrial Automation (IA) business. You will be dedicated and accountable to the "One Honeywell" approach by building and sustaining strategic relationships with senior external leaders to accelerate enterprise-level Utility growth opportunities.

The utilities sector is entering a growth cycle, and Honeywell Technologies is well‑positioned to leverage its point solutions and cross business capabilities across grid upgrades, cyber security, metering, and behind‑the‑meter solutions.

In this role, you will develop and implement business strategies to optimize and grow the business at or greater than market rates by making the most of product technology, new product development, innovation, voice of customer, manufacturing assets, and engineering capabilities. This role owns overall performance, growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will have significant customer‑facing engagement in leading and managing several key high‑profile programs with regular updates to Honeywell Technologies senior leadership. As a people leader, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting our employees to help them perform at their best and drive change across the company.

You will report to the President of Smart Energy and work out of our Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, or Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

You Must Have
