Job Summary

Management Positions are Full Time only.

Responsibilities:
  1. Analyzing your store’s P&L and deciding a path to reach your cost goals
  2. Writing a weekly staff schedule to achieve both people development and labor cost goals
  3. Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their goals and duties
  4. Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training, and evaluations
  5. Being an expert in Food Safety
  6. Mastering menu and product knowledge
  7. Preparing catering orders with your team
  8. Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
  9. Ordering products, supplies, and produce
  10. Screening, interviewing, and onboarding hourly employees
  11. Proper cash handling and payment procedures
  12. Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
  13. Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
  14. Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
  15. Ensuring proper food handling and storage of food products
  16. Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
Qualifications:
  1. Must be 21 years of age
  2. Minimum of 3 years of upper management experience
  3. Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
  4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  5. Looking for the chance to build, develop, and mentor a team
  6. Enjoy the challenge of setting goals and hitting them
  7. Sufficient experience and knowledge of restaurant Profit and Loss statements
  8. Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
  9. Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills
  10. Ability to recruit, train, retain, and motivate quality employees
  11. Motivated, self-initiated, and team oriented
  12. Strong time management and organization skills
  13. Demonstrate sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
  14. Must have or obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment
All Employees Must:
  1. Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)
  2. Obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment
Your Working Conditions / Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

  1. Morning shift - 7am - 4pm
  2. Mid shift - 10am to 8pm
  3. Evenings - 3pm - 10pm
  4. Weekends - when applicable
  5. Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.
