Job description

South Philadelphia Tap Room has defined casual gastropub dining in Philadelphia for more than 20 years. We take enormous pride in our amazing staff and the curated craft beer, natural wine, and creative cocktail lists that complement our thoughtful menus every day.

We are currently seeking a dedicated General Manager to drive business and oversee the day-to-day operations at South Philadelphia Tap Room.

Job duties include:
  1. Drive sales daily to meet and exceed goals through guest interaction, events planning and execution, social media engagement
  2. Responsible for all day-to-day operations
  3. Weekly wine and liquor inventory and ordering
  4. Scheduling and managing labor productivity FOH / BOH
  5. Manage COGS and controllable costs budgeting
  6. Review P&L weekly with management
  7. Maintain POS and delivery platform menus
  8. Manage physical plant
  9. Ensure compliance with PLCB, Labor, and Health departments
  10. Obtain Manager Serve Safe and RAMP Manager certifications; accommodations will be made if not already certified
