We are recruiting for a General Manager in Sarasota, FL on behalf of an established and rapidly growing, investor-backed firm in the home services market. The company specializes in essential residential and commercial electrical solutions and standby-generator distribution, focusing on keeping homes and families connected during power loss. With a core operating philosophy built on continuous improvement, strong team unity, and execution with excellence, the organization is positioning its multi-location operations for substantial regional scale.

Job Requirements

• Take hands-on, daily ownership of field operations across the Sarasota/Bradenton and West Palm Beach locations.
• Manage the regional P&L, monitor financial performance, collaborate with executive leadership to set financial goals, and execute cost‑saving measures.
• Drive operational metrics and regional performance toward key benchmarks.
• Capable of professionally speaking to and reporting regional financial and operational metrics directly to private equity investors and company directors.
• Split working time effectively between the regional hubs; Sarasota and West Palm Beach.
• Oversee local brand awareness and step directly into customer management when necessary to ensure an elite client experience.

Job Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated leadership and management experience within the home services industry.
• Proven, demonstrable experience managing a P&L, budget forecasting, and executing strategy based on financial statements.
• Concrete examples of developing a culture of high accountability, tracking individual productivity in real-time, and addressing field underperformance directly.
• Must reside in or be willing to commute easily between the Sarasota or West Palm Beach territories.

Compensation

$140,000 per year
