Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume restaurant operation. The role focuses on maintaining safety, food quality, and efficient service while driving sales and profitability.

You will manage scheduling, inventory, and staff development, while ensuring exceptional customer experiences across daily shifts. The position requires strong leadership, budget awareness, and a commitment to safety and standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years managing operations with annual sales > $1M.
• 2+ years managing budgets and P&L statements.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with food safety adherence.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and food prep.
• Assist in task execution, safety, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Train and develop team members to prepare and package orders efficiently.
• Understand and act on financial reports (P&L) to improve business results.
• Address customer feedback to improve the dining experience.

Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, talent acquisition and development, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Work alongside team members to train and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations.
• Understandfinancial reporting, which includes profit and loss statements to affect business changes and capitalize on opportunities.
• Addressing customer feedback and working to improve the overall dining experience.

Requirements:

• 2+ years restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1M+.
• 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

Skills and Demands:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate various computer programs, systems, and technology tools as part of daily operations.
• Must be able to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.
