Job summary

Popeyes in Houston, TX is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold food quality, guest service, and cleanliness, and drive financial performance.

You will recruit, train, coach and develop top talent, manage scheduling and payroll, monitor inventory and costs, ensure health and safety standards, and lead local marketing efforts to grow sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience.
• Experience as General Manager or Assistant GM preferred.
• Ability to manage P&L and financial performance.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

This position operates in a restaurant environment. Popeyes staff are frequently exposed to hot equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires regular standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
