Job summary

Accurate Personnel seeks a Senior Logistics General Manager to lead daily logistics and distribution operations in a fast-paced setting. You will drive warehouse, transportation, inventory, and order fulfillment activities while shaping strategies to boost productivity, efficiency, and service levels.

A hands-on leader will coach managers and frontline staff to meet performance goals. You will oversee budgets, KPIs, and safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive logistics, warehouse, or distribution management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing managers and large operational teams.
  • Proven leadership experience in large-scale distribution or logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management, transportation, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
  • Experience managing budgets, labor costs, KPIs, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for daily logistics and distribution operations.
  • Oversee warehouse, transportation, inventory, and order fulfillment activities.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and service levels.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and hourly employees.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, safety, labor, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage labor planning, staffing levels, scheduling, and workforce development.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Partner with senior leadership and customers to ensure operational goals and service expectations are met.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and operational performance.
  • Analyze operational data and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, and other methodologies.
  • Ensure equipment, facilities, and resources are properly maintained and utilized.
  • Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SENIOR LOGISTICS GENERAL MANAGER

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Senior Logistics General Manager to lead and oversee logistics operations within a fast‑paced distribution environment. This individual will be responsible for overall operational performance, including warehouse management, transportation, inventory, staffing, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a strong, hands-on leader with extensive logistics experience, a proven track record of managing large-scale operations, and the ability to develop high-performing teams.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience managing managers and/or large operational teams
  • Proven experience leading large-scale distribution or logistics operations
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management, transportation, inventory control, and supply chain processes
  • Experience managing budgets, labor costs, KPIs, and operational performance
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, 24/7 distribution environment
  • Strong commitment to safety, employee development, and operational excellence
