Panera Bread in Champaign, IL seeks a General Manager to lead the bakery-cafe team and own operations end-to-end. You will plan staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.

You will hire, onboard, and energize the team, drive results with strong business acumen, and uphold Panera’s Guiding Values as you foster warmth and community in the cafe. This role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Background check required.
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Proven ability to run shifts in a fast-paced environment while directing, motivating, coaching and developing others.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.
