Operations Managers assist and oversee daily operations to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include leading a team, managing processes, and executing strategies to grow sales and meet organizational goals. Job Functions:

  1. Hands-on responsibility for multiple business operations, including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
  2. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
  3. Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
  4. Assist the General Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
  5. Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements and implementing changes to capitalize on opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition efforts.

Experience:

  • 2+ years in retail, travel stop or convenience store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
  • 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of over $2 million.
  • 2+ years analyzing budgets and P&L statements.
  • 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Skills and Demands:

  • Ability to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional customer service, rapport building, salesmanship, and operational management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting over 75 pounds, and specific vision abilities.
