Job summary

Elmwood Golf Course in Pueblo, CO is seeking a full-time General Manager/Head Professional. You will oversee golf and restaurant operations, lead staff, manage budgets, and promote exceptional customer service across all facets of the operation.

The role requires PGA/LPGA Class A, a relevant degree, and strong leadership. Expect responsibility for scheduling, lessons, inventory, and community engagement within a municipal setting.

Qualifications

• PGA/LPGA Class A Member in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Golf Course Management, Hospitality Management, or closely related field.
• Combination of education and four years of relevant, high-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, promote, and direct all golf facility programs and activities.
• Deliver a high standard of care and maintenance to the course and facility.
• Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of golf operations; manage day-to-day personnel and ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare monthly and annual budget and operating plan for golf operations; identify revenue options to improve performance.
• Consult with Parks and Recreation on golf course operations, maintenance, and updates.
• Administer course rules and policies and enforce safe, professional service.
• Oversee golf shop and restaurant operations, inventory, and merchandise management.
• Provide golf instruction and supervise teaching staff; run clinics for all skill levels.
• Attend conferences and represent the course and City in professional activities.
