Qualifications

Since 1931, The B. F. Saul Company has been engaged in the acquisition, renovation, construction, and management of residential property in the Washington Metropolitan area. The Residential division is currently comprised of four luxury properties: The Waycroft (Arlington, VA), Park Van Ness (Washington, DC), The Kennedy-Warren (Washington, DC), Lyon Place (Arlington, VA), and The Milton at Twinbrook Quarter. Coming soon Hampden House (2025). Our Residential division prides itself on providing a high level of customer service to our residents to ensure complete resident satisfaction.

The General Manager oversees all resident services at Hampden House and overall Community operations.

About the Opportunity

The General Manager will manage the operations of the community to include staff performance, resident satisfaction, and financial success. A successful General Manager will generate income by effectively leading the sales team, monitoring market conditions, controlling budget, attracting residents and retaining them through outstanding customer service.

The General Manager will engage in all aspects of the community’s operations from the implementation of programs and services for residents and prospective residents to achieve annual business goals to reporting and managing leasing files.

The General Manager will develop a thorough understanding of the assigned community's competitive set and make pricing and marketing recommendations to optimize performance within the market.

Additionally, the General Manager will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, specifically Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.

What’s Required

You will need a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of relevant job experience (hi-rise management preferred), strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Landlord Tenant laws, and a strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA and OSHA.
