Tailchasers, Inc. is seeking a hands-on and flexible General Manager (GM) to oversee operations across multiple pet care businesses. This leadership role involves staff supervision, facility management, customer relations, and direct operational support when needed. The GM will be expected to cover Reception and Enrichment Counselor (Technician) shifts as needed to ensure seamless service and staffing coverage.
This is a dynamic, in-person role supporting:
Barrington Pet Resort – Boarding, daycare, grooming, and pet transport
Arlington Pet Resort – Daycare and pet transport
Pet Wants – Retail sales and deliveries

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and support daily operations across multiple service locations
Provide coverage for Reception and Enrichment shifts as needed
Manage and lead staff, ensuring high levels of accountability and professionalism
Address customer grievances with empathy and efficiency
Ensure all facilities are operating smoothly and aligned with company standards
Submit weekly productivity and performance reports
Track time and productivity using the time clock system
Complete additional operational tasks as assigned
Proven experience in leadership, management, or supervisory roles (at least 1 year of previous experience)
Background in pet care, hospitality, or customer service preferred
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead by example
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel between work sites
Medical, dental, and vision coverage after 90 days of full-time employment (30+ hours/week)
