Job summary

Bass Pro Shops seeks a General Manager for the Fun Mountain facility in the United States. This leadership role oversees Food & Beverage operations, games, bowling, and guest attractions, directing management and hourly staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will drive improvements, manage budgets, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Ownership and contractors on projects. A strong hospitality and operations background is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience or equivalent education/experience.
• At least 5 years of Food and Beverage experience preferred or multi-unit experience.
• At least 5 years of hospitality management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect areas to observe processes and guest experiences and gather feedback.
• Hold regular leadership meetings to promote coordination, growth and communication.
• Develop new activities and services to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Oversee purchasing within budget and policy guidelines.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The General Managerisresponsible foroverseeing the entireoperations of the Fun Mountain facility. This positionwillbe responsible formanaging both Food and Beverage operations as well as all games,bowlingand guest attractions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Routinely inspect areas of ownership toobserveprocesses, guest experiences and to gather feedback from guests and associates

• Hold regular meetings with leadership to promote coordination,growthand communication

• Continually evaluate existing offerings and develop new activities and servicesin order toexceed guests’ expectations

• Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures

• Provide leadership and direction to management and hourly associates

• Strive to exceed the budgeted revenue predictions, within expense and payroll guidelines

• Ensuresecurity and emergency procedures are in place as required by company policy and/or federal and state regulations

• Overseepurchasingin accordance withthe budget outline and as required by company policy

• Ensure that labor and other costs are managed appropriately meeting or exceeding profit goals

• Prepare a variety of administrative/operations reports and records, timesheets, daily staffing reports, inventories, cash reportsetc

• Ensure that alcoholic beverages are served within the rules proscribed by the Missouri Department of Public Safety Alcohol and Tobacco Control

• Ensure that food is served within the rules proscribed by the Taney County Department of Health and Safety

• Ensure that local and state applicable health and safety procedures and regulations are followed and maintained

• Work with Ownership, Big Cedar Leadership and Contractors to ensure that construction projects are completed on time to vision and budget

• Supervise and assist as necessary with all operations, which may include guest service; checking-in guest reservations; cleaning, organizing, service, dining area attention; bussing, resetting tables; bartending, menu development, large party reservations; line set up and restocking, expediting,etc

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required:High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Preferred Degree:Bachelor’s DegreeinBusiness ManagementHospitality Management

• Certificate(s) or License(s):Manager food handler and beverage service certifications(will provide if needed)

• Years of experience:

1)At least 5 yearspreviousleadership experience, or a combination of education and experience from which a comparable amount of knowledge isacquired

2)At least 5 years of Food and Beverage experience is preferred. (ormulti-unit operation experiencepreferred)

3)At least 5 yearsof hospitalitymanagementexperience preferred
