Job summary

Allstate Sprinkler, LLC, based in the Bronx, NY, seeks a General Manager - Fire Protection to lead NYC operations, with accountability for safety, customer experience, revenue growth, profitability, and field execution across fire sprinkler, fire alarm, fire extinguisher, and related life safety services.

The role oversees inspection, service, repair, and installation, guiding strategy, talent development, and operational excellence while integrating Guardian standards and preserving local

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading branch, district, or business-unit operations.
• Fire protection, mechanical services, construction services, security, or field service experience preferred.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L ownership, forecasting, job costing, and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Own annual operating plans, forecasts, budgets, and KPI execution.
• Drive organic growth through customer expansion, service penetration, and market development.
• Represent Allstate externally and contribute to Guardian strategic initiatives.
• Lead all day-to-day branch operations.
• Establish operating rhythms, forecasting, KPI reviews, and accountability mechanisms.
• Improve deficiency conversion to repair and project opportunities.
• Drive scheduling, dispatch, documentation quality, productivity, and backlog execution.
• Maintain full P&L ownership.
• Drive pricing discipline, margin expansion, and contract profitability.
• Improve working capital through billing, collections, WIP, and backlog management.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, FDNY, NYC, DOT, and AHJ requirements.
• Maintain technician licensing, certifications, and service quality.
• Build and retain high-performing teams.
• Foster accountability, ownership, collaboration, and safety.
• Maintain strategic customer relationships and act as executive escalation point.
• Lead thoughtful integration of systems, reporting, and operational standards.
