Job Requirements

RREMC Restaurants, LLC (D.B.A. Denny’s Restaurant) is seeking an experienced General Manager to manage a high-volume 24/365 family restaurant establishment.

Responsibilities

• Directs restaurant operations with responsibility for guest service, hospitality, brand standards execution, and employee training.
• Achieves controllable profit and flow‑through goals by overseeing all controllable costs and taking the appropriate corrective action to achieve the desired results.
• Ensures timely implementation and ongoing execution of all company and corporate initiatives and marketing promotions.
• Develops Restaurant Managers and hourly employees through Denny’s training programs, individual development plans, and assignments.
• Ensures all equipment and facilities are in compliance with RREMC standards and takes corrective action when required.
• Attracts, hires, and retains the best hourly talent to meet staffing requirements and customer service standards and expectations.
• Shares responsibility with DM on attracting, hiring & developing Restaurant Managers to make a cohesive management team.
• Proactively handles employee relations issues and deviations from brand standards; involves the DM and HR as appropriate to resolve issues.
• Develops and executes the local store marketing plan to build relationships with civic, business, school, and professional organizations to drive sales and guest count growth.
• All other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

• 3+ years’ experience in restaurant management, additional operations and / or leadership experience preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; individual with high school diploma or equivalent and a proven, successful operations background will be considered.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the RREMC organization.
• Communicates effectively in the English language.
• Food Safety Manager Certification.
• Ability to identify and anticipate opportunities and implement corrective action steps.
• Places value on diversity and shows respect for others.
• Disciplined and flexible with the ability to adjust to changing local market and restaurant conditions while properly balancing work with personal life.
• Solid financial and business acumen.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Periodic travel to include occasional overnight travel.
• Licensed to operate an automobile without hours of operation restrictions.
