Job summary

Allegiant in the United States (KY) is seeking an Airport Agent to lead cross‑functional collaboration across Inflight, Flight Operations, Maintenance, and vendor teams. You will chair weekly KPI reviews and ensure SLAs with ground-handling providers are met, while maintaining regulatory and brand accountability.

The role requires at least 3 years in airline operations with management exposure, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) certification.
  • Three years airline operations experience with two years in management preferred.
  • Two years’ experience managing cross-functional operations preferred.
  • Must reside within 60 minutes of the assigned airport.
  • Willingness to travel at least twice per year as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must attend all required training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead base accountability for Allegiant, driving cross‑functional collaboration across Inflight, Flight Operations, Maintenance, and vendor teams.
  • Chair weekly performance reviews to monitor KPIs and address issues affecting on-time performance, baggage reliability, and safety management.
  • Oversee local SLAs, audit vendor compliance, and initiate corrective actions when standards are not met.
  • Represent Allegiant in regulatory and airport authority matters, including interactions with FAA, TSA, and city officials.
  • Audit vendor training compliance through training records and monthly evaluations.
  • Monitor vendor invoices for contract alignment and escalate discrepancies as needed.
  • Ensure effective ground support equipment (GSE) management and reporting.
  • Align base team communications and station initiatives with corporate strategy.
  • Serve as primary escalation point for safety, service, or performance concerns.
  • Coordinate cross-functional responses to irregular operations and support decision-making.
  • Address escalated customer complaints with Customer Relations and relevant departments.
  • Foster continuous improvement and recognition through joint initiatives with Allegiant and vendor leadership.
  • Support talent development for base personnel via coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and standards.
  • Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in leadership actions.
  • As needed, take on additional duties after training and qualifications are met.

Summary

Drives holistic base performance through cross-functional facilitation, data-driven problem solving and joint KPI ownership.

Years of Experience
Minimum of three (3) years' of airline operations experience, including two (2) years' of management experience preferred. Minimum of two (2) years' managing cross‑functional operations preferred.

  • Oversee local Service‑Level Agreements (SLAs), auditing vendor compliance and initiating corrective actions when standards are not met.
  • Represent Allegiant in all regulatory, governmental, and airport authority matters, including interactions with FAA, TSA, and city officials.
  • Audit service provider training compliance through regular review of training records and monthly evaluations.
  • Monitor vendor invoices for contract alignment, escalating discrepancies or billing issues as needed.
  • Ensure effective ground support equipment (GSE) management and completion of required reporting.
  • Align base team communications and station initiatives with corporate strategy.

  • Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
  • As business demands, additional duties/tasks assigned as training and additional qualifications have been met.

Airport Agent – While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb and use hands and fingers to operate various types of tools and equipment (i.e. hand trucks, carts, ramps, tugs, etc.). They are required to lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs. and to push and/or pull up to 300 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24‑hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to heights, small spaces, extreme noise (i.e. airport with planes, vehicles, and other machinery), temperature, wind, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to crawl in and out of small spaces for extended periods of time. Ability to wear personal protective gear. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
