Pritchard Industries is a leading facilities service company committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. With a focus on excellence and innovation, we provide a wide range of facility management solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

We are seeking a General Manager, based in Philadelphia. This position is an integral member of the Mid-Atlantic Region's management team, responsible for leading commercial cleaning operations, ensuring service commitments are met, and exceeding budget and growth expectations. The role involves overseeing scheduling, staff training, performance management, and meeting operational and sales targets. Additionally, the General Manager will manage corporate expenses related to customer deliveries and aim to increase revenues through additional service sales and supporting the sales team in expanding the customer base.


Note: This role is a field position.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant work experience in commercial cleaning operations and overseeing higher education sites/universities.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progression in janitorial or similar industry.
  • Operations or building/facilities management experience.
  • Proficiency with operational applications and technology.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Business development and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term strategies and annual business plans for growth.
  • Oversee daily operations, sales activities, budgets, and personnel.
  • Manage expenses related to cleaning services, including delivery, labor, and supplies.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and adapt to their evolving needs.
  • Review service delivery, staffing, and performance reports to identify issues.
  • Analyze processes to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Collaborate with company leaders to evaluate performance and regulatory trends.
  • Ensure compliance with customer contract commitments and schedule services accordingly.
  • Allocate resources and maintain inventories of supplies.
  • Monitor service delivery performance and address deficiencies.
  • Recruit, train, and develop cleaning staff.
  • Engage with senior management and clients to promote business growth.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
