Veryable is seeking a General Manager for the Cincinnati market to lead day-to-day operations in-market, align with the strategic plan, and drive commercial initiatives. The role reports to the VP, Ohio and sits in the West Region, with hands-on responsibilities and potential for team expansion as the market grows.

Note: Remote candidates will not be considered; the role is in-market and requires on-site leadership of the Cincinnati operations and P&L management.

Veryable, we are revitalizing U.S. Manufacturing. We connect businesses to workers through our online marketplace, enabling a real-time approach to production. One of the fastest growing U.S. tech start-ups, we are looking for a General Manager, Cincinnati Market (the "GM Cincinnati"). The GM Cincinnati shall have the primary responsibility of leading the day-to-day operations of the business, in market, in accordance with the strategic plan and operating and capital budgets. In addition, the GM Cincinnati will be responsible for all commercial initiatives and activities. This is a 'learn by doing', 'hands on', and build the business position. As the GM Cincinnati grows the market, then there will be opportunity to add to the team.

Collaboration, learning, and career development at Veryable takes place in real-time and therefore Remote candidates will not be considered.

The GM Cincinnati reports to the Corporation's VP, Ohio and is part of the West Region of the company.

Responsibilities

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, primary responsibilities of the GM Cincinnati are to:

• promote and enforce company values, reputation, and culture;
• adhere to HR Manifesto and manage marketplace and team for long term growth and stability;
• manage day-to-day operations of the business in the Cincinnati district and oversee P&L;
• drive top line adherence in accordance to the company’s growth plan;
• manage district team and recruit, hire, and develop new team members as trajectory requires;
• drive business development in accordance to the company’s growth plan;
• develop market entry and/or growth strategy and supporting marketing initiatives;
• develop business target lists, cultivate relationships, and conduct regular communications;
• manage CRM process and identify scalable ways to recruit business users;
• cultivate strategic accounts and partnerships to enable growth and scalability;
• collaborate with other market leaders to identify best go-to-market strategies;
• oversee operational issues and ensure quick and effective resolution;
• assist Operations Leadership and CEO in overseeing the long-term business strategy of the Corporation;
• provide a product-market fit feedback loop into the product management / tech development funnel;
• assist Operations Leadership and CEO in conducting public events, interviews, workshops, etc. in market
