Now Hiring a Restaurant Manager at STIR in downtown Knoxville, TN.

STIR is famous for cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice, blend our own bitters and syrups, press juices, and slice ingredients, all in-house. We age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place other cocktails on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result are categorically elevated cocktails.

What you'll do as a Manager

• Oversee and execute daily operations, leading each shift attentively
• Assist with programs and systems, including MIT, Certified Trainers, hiring, training, injury reporting
• Support FOH operations, quality control, food safety, sanitation, and budget adherence
• Handle guest and team member complaints and concerns promptly
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests
• Pursue ongoing professional development
• Ensure financials are accurate and on schedule
• Work with systems like Restaurant 365, Paycom, & TOAST

What We're Looking For In a Restaurant Manager

• Minimum of 5+ years management experience in upscale casual dining
• Preferred degree in Hospitality Management or similar
• Strong numerical skills
• Ability to coach and develop team members
• Passion for hospitality and service
• Knowledge of food and beverage prep
• Understanding of health codes
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
