- Responsible for managing operations, optimizing the business, leading the team, and building relationships with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily airport operations to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency for passengers and stakeholders.
- Assess and allocate resources to optimize station performance.
- Monitor, review, and report on station performance metrics.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders through collaboration and inclusiveness.
- Coordinate with airport authorities and government agencies to represent organizational priorities.
- Manage scheduled, unscheduled, and charter flight operations to meet performance goals.
- Serve as liaison between the company and external organizations.
- Identify and implement process improvements in a dynamic environment.
- Oversee budget management and financial administration.
- Lead, motivate, and develop staff to deliver excellent customer service in a safe and professional manner.
- Handle employee management tasks including hiring, performance reviews, training, and career development.
- Maintain safety and security standards.
- Partner with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with audits, regulations, and ethical standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in airline operations or relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years in supervisory or management roles.
- Experience managing operational budgets.
Skills & Certifications
- Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safety, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to work with collective bargaining units.
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership and motivational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Ability to pass security and background checks, including FAA and airport security requirements.
