Job summary

Home Run Inn in Beverly (Chicago) seeks a General Manager to lead all aspects of the restaurant, develop the team, and drive exceptional guest experiences while achieving financial goals and operational excellence.

You will coach and mentor the team, create a respectful and motivated workplace, and oversee daily operations with a focus on sales, labor, and food cost. This exempt leadership role is based at our Beverly location.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Experience managing restaurant financials, labor, and inventory.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving operational and financial goals.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work 45–50 hours per week in an exempt leadership role.
  • Ability to work at Home Run Inn locations within 35 miles of the assigned restaurant.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required state and local certifications.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.

As our General Manager, you'll lead every aspect of our Beverly restaurant—from developing your team and delivering exceptional guest experiences to achieving financial goals and operational excellence.

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations while maintaining Home Run Inn standards
  • Drive sales, profitability, labor, food cost, and operational performance
  • Use scheduling and forecasting tools to maximize efficiency
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and administrative processes
  • Monitor inventory, food quality, and food safety standards
  • Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and operating at its best

  • Ensure required training and certifications are completed on time
  • Communicate consistently through pre‑shift meetings and team messaging

Salary Description

$70,000–$85,000 annually + 20% target annual performance bonus
Total target compensation: approximately $84,000–$102,000 annually.
