Job summary

Gold's Gym Washington in Woodinville is seeking a General Manager to lead club culture, build a high-performing team, and guide members on their fitness journey. You will set standards, own results, and drive the club to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee culture, growth strategies, and operations, ensuring a welcoming environment, strong leadership, and alignment with company goals. This role requires hands-on leadership across weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Leader who genuinely wants to help people improve through fitness.
• 2+ years managing a team of 10+ people.
• 3+ years in fitness, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or other service operations.
• Proven success hitting sales or revenue goals.
• Comfortable reading KPI and labor reports and turning them into action.
• Strong written and verbal communicator; attentive listener.
• Familiar with gym POS software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Culture and Leadership: Set the club culture and lead by example; develop a co-leader as partner; run team meetings; recognize great work and celebrate milestones.
• Membership Growth: Own membership goals; lead tours and convert first visits; coach team on lead follow-up and guest experience; drive retention and community partnerships.
• Team Development: Recruit, hire, onboard, train and develop staff; build peak-hour schedules within labor budget; grow future leaders.
• Business Performance: Manage revenue, labor, and expenses; track KPIs; ensure quality member interactions; maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities; enforce opening/closing procedures.

Schedule:Full-time with flexibility across weekdays, weekends, and holidays to serve our members

As General Manager, this is your club. You lead its culture, build the team that makes every guest feel welcome, and help people take the first step in their fitness journey. You make the decisions, own the results, and set the standard for what a Gold's Gym PNW club can be.

Culture and Leadership

• Set the standard for a Motivating, Authentic, and Passionate club culture and model it every day
• Develop your co-leader as a true partner in running the club and a future General Manager
• Run team meetings that share goals, promotions, and wins, and keep everyone informed and equipped

Membership Growth

• Own the club's membership goals and build the plan to hit them each month
• Lead by example on tours, guiding guests to the membership that fits their goals

Team Development

• Recruit, hire, and onboard a team that fits the culture

Business Performance

• Manage the club's revenue, labor, and expense goals and use the numbers to plan each week and month
• Own your club's KPIs and present your results and plans to company leadership
• Make sure every member interaction, in person, by phone, and by email, leaves them glad they're part of the gym
• Keep the club clean, safe, and equipment-ready, and manage repairs and vendors
• Ensure opening and closing procedures and company policies are followed
