Job summary

AES Restaurant Group, LLC. is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead an Arby’s in Williston, North Dakota. You’ll own daily operations, guest satisfaction, and financial performance while building a strong team and upholding food safety and company standards.

The ideal candidate has quick-service leadership experience, strong decision-making, and a hands-on approach to coaching and development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in restaurant management, preferably quick-service or fast-food.
• GM or AGM experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading a high-volume, drive-thru operation is a plus.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop staff.

AES Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead one of our Arby’s restaurants in Williston, North Dakota. The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, including daily operations, financial results, staffing, team development, guest satisfaction, food safety, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has strong quick-service restaurant leadership experience and is comfortable taking full ownership of restaurant performance. This position requires a hands-on leader who can build a dependable team, coach performance, maintain high operational standards, and consistently deliver results.

Duties

• Lead all daily restaurant operations while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, service, and guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain restaurant team members and managers.
• Build a positive, accountable work environment focused on teamwork, development, and performance.
• Create accurate sales projections and employee schedules based on business needs.
• Manage restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, food cost, cash controls, inventory, and overall profitability.
• Review restaurant performance and implement action plans to improve operational and financial results.
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for meeting company standards.
• Develop Assistant Managers and other high-potential employees for future leadership opportunities.
• Ensure proper execution of company systems, policies, procedures, and operating standards.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and prepare the restaurant for peak business periods.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, workplace safety requirements, employment laws, and all applicable government regulations.
• Partner with the Area Supervisor to establish restaurant goals and improve performance.

Experience

• A minimum of two years of restaurant management experience, preferably within a quick-service or fast-food restaurant environment.
• General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading a high-volume, drive-thru restaurant is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting, training, coaching, and developing restaurant employees and managers.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including labor management, food cost, inventory, scheduling, and cash controls.
• Experience managing a restaurant profit and loss statement and developing action plans based on financial results.
• Strong leadership, communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a respectful and positive workplace.
