Responsibilities

• Control day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing restaurant team members
• Directly responsible for profit & loss by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
• Recruit, interview, and hire staff; motivate and train team; and administer disciplinary actions as needed
• Ensure a fully staffed, trained, and performing location
• Oversee and adhere to local health and safety codes, and company-wide safety and security policies
• Follow the preventative maintenance program for facilities, equipment, appliances, fixtures, etc.
• Lead a culture of safety and promote a positive working environment
• Drive company goals for a best-in-class guest experience and be accountable for guest reviews and experiences
• Maintain product quality and consistency with company standards and recipes
• Partner with and execute marketing initiatives in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work in either DC, MD, or VA
• Experience managing in high-volume restaurants; minimum of three years preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations
• Robust financial aptitude related to business operations
• Passion for hospitality; ability to lead and develop a team
• Careful, self-motivated leadership with coaching and drive for excellence
• Hospitality degree preferred
