Job summary

Southeast Restaurant Group is seeking a General Manager for a Wendy’s in Taylor, AL to lead and support a fast-paced restaurant team, ensuring Fresh, Quality Wendy’s menu items and outstanding guest service. The GM will focus on building a positive atmosphere where staff enjoy coming to work.

You will hire, develop and orient new staff, schedule and deploy the team, address performance issues, resolve customer issues, and drive performance toward People, Customer Service, and financial targets.

Our General Managers lead and support our team in serving our customers Fresh, Quality Wendy’s menu items. The General Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the entire restaurant with a focus of building and maintaining a positive atmosphere where members of our team enjoy coming to work and delivering outstanding customer service to our guests. Key responsibilities include finding, hiring, and developing employees, conducting new hire orientation, and developing the training plan for each member of the team. The General Manager is also responsible for scheduling and deploying the team correctly, addressing performance issues, assisting in the resolution of customer issues, and leading the team to achieve our People, Customer Service, and financial targets.

The ideal General Manager candidate has strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude. Candidates with previous General Manager experience or at least 3 years of Manager or Supervisor experience in a restaurant is required.
