Job summary

X-Golf Spokane Valley is seeking a General Manager to lead operations, drive revenue, manage the team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience in our state-of-the-art indoor golf venue with a lively bar and entertainment space.

In this on-site role, you will oversee daily operations, supervise hourly staff and managers, handle HR tasks, manage food and beverage operations, run leagues and events, and lead marketing efforts to grow the X-Golf community in Spokane Valley.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in entertainment, golf and/or food & beverage industries.
• Proven leadership including developing direct reports.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering superior member/guest service and staff training.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude in all situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations.
• Manage hourly employees and supervisors, including scheduling and coaching.
• HR tasks: interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, and payroll logs.
• Food & beverage management including inventory and compliance with health & safety guidelines.
• Run leagues, tournaments, and group events to engage guests and grow the X-Golf community.
• Conduct marketing campaigns via social media, email and print.

• X-Golf offers state-of-the-art indoor golf simulators with the most comprehensive tracking on the market, paired with a lively bar and entertainment space. The simulators are designed for golfers at all stages of their game and allow players access to some of the world’s greatest golf courses without ever leaving town. Rain or shine, snow or sleet, golfers can enjoy playing in any weather conditions. Tasty bites, cold beer and a full liquor bar round out a fun hospitality experience.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• A General Manager at X-Golf is responsible for the overall success of the business by leading operations, driving revenue, managing the team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversight of daily operations of the facility.
• Managing hourly employees, any assistant managers, or PGA Professionals which includes scheduling, training, coaching, and follow-up.
• Human Resources include interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, and termination as needed as well as summarized tip logs for payroll in a timely manner.
• Food and beverage management ensuring proper inventory, cost of goods, and compliance with health and safety guidelines
• Perform and manage leagues, tournaments, and group events for consistent customer engagement and development of X-Golf’s community
• Conduct marketing/advertising campaigns via social media, email, and print to promote anything associated with current X-Golf operations

COMPENSATION :

• $25 an Hour plus performance bonuses and daily tips

SPECIFICS

• This General Manager of X-Golf Spokane Valley is a Full-Time Employee working on-site 40 hours per week ensuring consistent operational practices, customer experience, and growth of business.

RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a manager in the entertainment, golf and/or food & beverage industries.
• Demonstrated leadership including experience developing direct reports.
• Proven record of providing superior member/guest service and staff training and development
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
