Job summary

Vireo Health, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Retail General Manager to lead our growing Green Goods dispensary. You will oversee Patient Care Coordinators, streamline daily operations, and drive exceptional patient experiences.

The role demands strong leadership, a passion for cannabis education, and the ability to build a high-performing team. You’ll work up to 55 hours weekly, develop sales strategies, and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of direct employee management experience.
• 2+ years leadership in a retail or customer service environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to become knowledgeable about medical cannabis.
• Ability to work up to 55 hours per week.

What the role is about:

We areseekingan energetic and experienced Retail General Managerto join our growing dynamic team at Green Goods! The General Manageris responsible formanaging local dispensary Patient Care Coordinators, communicating with patients, handling customer service issues,assistingthe dispensary manager andmaintainingan efficientworkflowduring daily dispensary operations.If you excelat leadership,problem-solving,building relationships with your team and customers, and owning the store as if it'syour own- this job is for you!This position will report directly to the District Manager - Retail.

What impact you’ll make:

• Manage cross functional team of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue through exceeding sales targets and customer loyalty throughincreasedcustomer retention
• Maintainoptimalinventory levels and manage replenishment to ensure product availability
• Monitor labor and material costs to maximize profitability
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders within the cannabis supply chain
• Develop andmaintainsite quality metrics to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to assess performance and drive decision-making
• Develop marketing tactics for increasingsales
• Address HR concerns, foster a positive work environment, and ensure employee training on cannabis regulations and products
• Manage, support, and develop your team to work effectively, increase performance, and grow in their role
• You are expected to work up to 55 hours a week(including weekends & nights) to successfully manage the retail operations of this store

What you’ve accomplished:

• Musthave a college degree
• 3+ years of direct employee management experience
• 2+ years of leadership in a retail or customer service environment
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, patients, and health care providers
• Passionate about, and willingness to become knowledgeable about medical cannabis
• Maintain and safeguard entrusted confidential information
• Ability to understand, support, and implement community and organizational policies/procedures, along with government regulations
• Proficiencywith MS Office
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable to change in the work environment

What we offer:

• Compensation: $75,000-85,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus incentive opportunities

• 11 days of accrued PTO in addition to two wellness days & volunteer hours in your first year
