The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven leader with experience managing complex operations and diverse teams, preferably within aquatics, construction, field services, facilities, commercial services, or another operationally intensive business. This individual should be comfortable managing a P&L, leading teams, building strong customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability. As General Manager, you will provide strategic and hands‑on leadership across all areas of the branch, and will be responsible for optimizing branch performance, developing and retaining a high‑performing workforce, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety, transportation, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty issues with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams on new opportunities and growth initiatives.
  • Supervise, coach, and support branch staff, including project managers, crews, warehouse, and administrative personnel.
  • Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, corrective actions, and ongoing staff support.

  • Implement and enforce OSHA and company safety policies across all projects and sites.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
  • Oversee fleet, tools, and equipment for safe operation and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise and support CDL drivers assigned to the branch, ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and Company transportation and safety requirements.
  • Oversee fleet safety practices, including vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and accident reporting procedures.
  • Participate in or lead investigations and corrective actions related to vehicle incidents involving branch personnel.
