Job summary

Public Service Plumbers & Air is seeking a General Manager to lead multiple locations in the Dallas, East Texas, and Southern Arkansas regions. This entrepreneurship-driven role includes full P&L ownership, growth through acquisitions, and building a high-performing team.

You will develop culture, drive service excellence, and deliver strong financial results while expanding organic growth and potentially leading additional M&A activity across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in management/supervisory roles with P&L experience preferred.
• Experience with or deep respect for skilled trades or similar industries.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to apply critical thinking, risk analysis and develop solutions.
• A leader of character.
• A leader who inspires followership amongst the men and women they serve (manage).

Responsibilities

• Increase key metrics including revenue, sales conversion percentage, average invoice, employee retention, customer satisfaction and maintenance subscription plans.
• Deliver “gold standard” of service and quality through training, accountability, and metrics.
• Develop culture, systems, and measures to teach and train industry leading staff, increasing eNPS and retention at all levels.
• Build a culture of purpose among the management team.
• Make a difference for our people and the communities we serve through expansion of outstanding employment opportunities.

We are currently seeking the role of a General Manager to fill our upcoming acquisition locations. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of a location’s day-to-day operations; the individual will drive growth, performance metrics, create culture and develop all staff and management, constantly striving to be a world-class operator and helping others to do the same. In addition to full P&L ownership, the General Manager is responsible for capturing a major MSA through organic growth and potentially leading additional M&A activity.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or equivalent


• 3+ years Management/Supervisory required, P&L experience strongly preferred

• General Managers can expect to make a very competitive six figure base and annual bonus, with extremely strong upside given performance and our expansion.
