Job Summary:

The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the business, including sales, project management, talent, strategy, and customer service. This role is critical in driving performance, ensuring profitability, and maintaining a culture of accountability and safety.

Responsibilities:

• P&L & Cash — approve WIP, control OH, drive billing/collections
• Sales & Estimating — set hit-rate targets, review bid log & CRM pipeline, approve bids > $500k, Chair weekly sales meetings
• Revenue forecasting — maintain 12-month forecast, report to MP
• Project execution review — chair weekly Ops Review
• Safety leadership — run monthly stand-down, enforce corrections
• Customer relationships — cultivate relationships with top GCs/owners/key clients, resolve escalations
• Market/Location Strategy — Monitor local market conditions and landscape for opportunities, trends, and risks. Drive strategic action for the branch that takes these factors into account
• Asset & fleet governance — approve rentals & maintenance. ROI budgeting for CapEx approvals and purchases

Qualifications:

• Branch SWOT & 90-day plan
