Job description

In conjunction with the Group Vice President and Corporate, establishes business objectives for the site and provides direction to the attainment of those objectives in business, customers, employees and the community while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities
  • Completes long-range planning in support of corporate goals and objectives.
  • Manages site in a manner that reduces operating cost, increases revenue and exceeds customer expectation.
  • Pursues new customer and business expansions opportunities.
  • Responsible for employee discipline and morale.
  • Supports corporate and senior staff in establishing policies and procedures and ensure implementation at the site.
  • Provides quarterly business and capital investment forecasts.
  • Leads management and support staff in a collaborative environment to continuously improve site performance in velocity, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Supports Benchmark initiatives through site active participation in projects, education and training programs, and resource sharing as needed.
  • Reviews pricing and cost of current and prospective customers to identify opportunity and reducing overall cost.
  • Provides leadership and direction in the sites Lean Sigma program to corporate goals and objectives to increase value stream transformation.
  • Supports human development programs for site team members.
