Job summary

Adair Homes is seeking a General Manager to lead the Phoenix region, uniting Sales and Construction, growing market share, and driving regional performance. You will oversee P&L, develop teams, shape region-wide strategy, and partner with platform teams to ensure execution.

You will build high-performing regional leaders, manage operations, and work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experiences and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

  • Leadership experience overseeing multi-functional operations.
  • Proven track record in managing P&L and budgets.
  • Experience coaching and developing managers.
  • Strong sales performance and business planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
  • Residential homebuilding or construction industry experience preferred.
  • Experience leading multi-location or regional operations.
  • Experience with EOS or similar operating system.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall business performance of the region, including sales, P&L, customer experience, operational execution, and growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional Sales and Construction leaders to build high-performing teams that drive a strong customer pipeline.
  • Own regional business development efforts, identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand market presence, build strategic relationships, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Drive regional sales performance, including lead generation, appointments, contracts, conversion, starts, closings, and backlog.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue, market share, and regional business opportunities. Own regional financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and net income.
  • Partner with Purchasing and other Platform teams to support regional volume, quality, cost, capacity, and performance.
  • Maintain visibility into construction performance, schedules, quality, closings, warranty activity, and customer experience.
  • Translate company strategy into clear regional priorities and hold teams accountable for execution.
  • Identify risks and opportunities early, solve problems, and keep the region focused on the work that matters most.

As a General Manager, you'll have responsibility for the overall performance of your region, including sales, P&L, operational execution, customer experience, business development, and people leadership. You'll lead the regional Sales and Construction teams while partnering closely with Purchasing and other Platform teams to turn company strategy into results.

What You'll Do

  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the region and to Corporate as needed..
  • Preferred Qualifications
