Annual Compensation: $280,000 - $300,000

Strategic Leadership: Execute and evolve a strategic plan that supports Marin’s long-term vision while elevating service and experience.
Operational Oversight: Lead day-to-day club operations including golf, F&B, tennis, aquatics, and events to ensure efficiency and excellence.
Member Engagement: Build strong relationships with members through visibility, communication, and hospitality leadership.
Financial Planning & Performance: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, establish clear departmental accountability, monitor results against plan, and provide timely financial analysis and recommendations that support sound decision-making and the Club's long-term financial sustainability.
Team Leadership: Develop a high-performing leadership team and culture of accountability, service, and professionalism.
Board & Governance: Serve as a key liaison to the Board, providing transparency, recommendations, and performance updates.
Experience & Programming: Ensure exceptional execution of events, tournaments, and lifestyle programming that enhance member satisfaction.
Capital Project Leadership: Develop and maintain a multi-year capital plan aligned with the Club's strategic vision, member expectations, facility needs, and available funding. Lead capital projects from evaluation and prioritization through budgeting, Board communication, execution, and post-project review, ensuring disciplined stewardship of Club resources.
Long-Range Financial Strategy: Partner with the Board and department leaders to connect operating plans, reserve requirements, dues strategy, and capital investment into an integrated multi-year financial roadmap, including scenario analysis and clear communication of risks, tradeoffs, and funding needs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced and strategic leader with a proven track record of success in private club management or luxury hospitality. This individual must possess the operational expertise, financial acumen, and interpersonal skills necessary to lead a top-tier club. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable shaping the member experience and leading a rigorous planning process—building credible budgets, developing forecasts, evaluating performance, and guiding thoughtful capital investment. They will be driven by a passion for service excellence and the ability to foster a strong sense of community.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation or equivalent is preferred.
Experience working closely with a Board of Directors in a private club or luxury service environment is a plus.
