Job summary

Southeast Restaurant Group, a Wendy’s Franchisee, is seeking a General Manager to lead a Wendy’s restaurant and drive exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

You will hire, train, schedule, and coach staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure quality, safety, and cost controls while fostering a positive team culture and delivering strong results.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team.
• Proven track record of developing employees and building a positive work culture.
• Experience in hiring, onboarding, and training planning for staff.
• Ability to schedule and deploy teams to meet service targets and peak times.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop employees, including new hire orientation and ongoing training.
• Develop and implement training plans for each team member.
• Schedule the team to optimize coverage and performance, addressing issues as they arise.
• Lead the restaurant to achieve People, Customer Service, and financial targets.

Our General Managers lead and support our team in serving our customers Fresh, Quality Wendy’s menu items.The General Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the entire restaurant with a focus of building and maintaining a positive atmosphere where members of our team enjoy coming to work and delivering outstanding customer service to our guests.Key responsibilities include finding, hiring, and developing employees, conducting new hire orientation, and developing the training plan for each member of the team.The General Manager is also responsible for scheduling and deploying the team correctly, addressing performance issues, assisting in the resolution of customer issues, and leading the team to achieve our People, Customer Service, and financial targets.

The ideal General Manager candidate has strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude. Candidates with previous General Manager experience or at least 3 years of Manager or Supervisor experience in a restaurant is required.
